  On Sept. 5, Bonner beat Interboro, 7-6, to end a 24-game
losing streak. It covered parts of four season (1, 11, 11, 1)
and the Friars received their points on a 10-yard keeper by
backup Brendan Gutierrez (Anthony DiGalbo was
momentarily out with an injury) and Dan Vanderslice's PAT.
Dave Smith recovered a muffed punt to set up the score
and made one of his nine tackles for no gain at the MB 2
with about 8 minutes remaining, ending a 16-play Interboro
drive.
