The Philadelphia Public League is expanding from 47 to 53 teams
for the 2006-07 season.
There will be four divisions based on enrollment: A (15 teams) and B (15
teams) for
Class AAAA
and AAA schools, and C (11 teams; charters) and D (12 teams; "regulars") for AA and A
schools.
Teams will play each member of their divisions in league games.
