St. James 42, Frankford 0
    Tony Serge rushed 17 times for 154 yards and two TDs and Dave
Lansberry added two more scores while rushing 20 times for 134 yards.
St. James rang up 507 yards total offense and 23 first downs. Gus
Fernandez kicked six PAT. For Frankford, Gary Hegh was limited to 43
yards on 12 carries, but he finished his career with 2,595 yards.

Public League

At Northeast
Frankford 14, Mastbaum 6
    Gary Hegh rushed 24 times for 207 yards and two TDs and, in his
first start at safety, twice caused fumbles that Frankford recovered.
Willie Debnam added 101 yards on 23 carries. The Pioneers' winning
drive, which broke a 6-6 tie, covered 63 yards and began with 4:07 left.
For Mastbaum, Nick Zampitella ran for a short score.

    Jordy Hinkle passed 3-for-5 for 100 yards, including a 47-yard
TD to Mike Hober. Jim Genuardi rushed for 82 yards and a TD on 24
carries.

    On an end-around double reverse, Dave Kasarsky threw a 50-yard
scoring pass to QB Kevin Dare to erase a 14-13 deficit and give St.
James momentum. Dare threw a 49-yard TD pass to Bill Warrington and Tony
Serge ran for two TDs. For Kenrick, Jim Genuardi carried 15 times for
124 yards and a TD while Jordy Hinkle ran for one score and passed for
another.

Malvern (5-0-0)
  Malvern went perfect, but only had to play four times --
Chestnut Hill disbanded its team after two league games
because of a player shortage. The visiting Friars spanked
Haverford, 33-0, in their finale behind Wally Shields
(three rushing TDs). Episcopal, GA and PC all went 3-2-0
for second.
