DEC. 13
PUBLIC LEAGUE B
Northeast 84, Swenson 63
In the first half it was a close game with Northeast and Swenson scoring back-to-back points. Tyron “lytes out” lytes led the first half with 9 points. Marcus “Patrick Ewing” Booker was right behind him with 8. A Swenson foul sent Steve Pinckney to the line to shoot two, he made them both. A steal and a assist from Corey Wilkins to Jordan ”P.C. for Three” Green, who hit a momentum providing 3, forced Swenson to call a time out. For Swenson it was basically a two-man show. Krentz Sainte and Anatoly Dukhin were the leading scorers for Swenson in the first half. Devin Colston came off the bench and quickly hit three straight jump shots and Brandon Hurst made a tough layup in the paint and had a monster block to end the half. In the second half Northeast came out with a lot more intensity and totally dominated the rest of the game. Marcus “Patrick Ewing” Booker ( who finished with a game high of 22 and 10reb) and Tyron “lytes out” lytes (who finished with 19 and 8 asts) totally took over in the 3rd quarter, scoring back to back buckets for Northeast. Lionel Berdecia very easily (And we mean EASY) scored 16 pts in the 4th quarter off totally easy lay-ups.
