The Albert C. Donofrio Classic, a single-elimination tournament played at The Fellowship House of Conshohocken, features most of the best high school players in the Philadelphia-South Jersey area, and often draws players from as far away as North Jersey and New York.
The Fellowship House is located at 5th and Harry Streets. (Harry is one block off of Fayette Street, the main street in Conshohocken. If you enter Conshy from the Schuylkill Expressway/Blue Route side by going across the big bridge, you will be on Fayette Street. Go to 5th and make a right. The Fellowship House is one block down on the left-hand side.) The phone number is 610-828-3266. Director Floyd Shaffer and his tournament staff are always helpful and cooperative.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS
FIRST ROUND
March 29
Lancaster-Lebanon 85, Sonny Hill Sophs
73: Jeremy Dixon (21 points) led LL. Zach Westmoreland had 17 points, and Mike
Ringold added 15 for SHS in the first game at the newly-renovated Fellowship House.
Pizza Time Saloon 98, Continental Refrigerator 90: William
Perez had 30 points, including five threes, and five assists for PTS. Maurice Miller (16
points), Lorenzo Byrd (16), Malik Dickerson (16) and Lewis Leonard (15), all from
Frankford High, led CR.
March 30
Championship Sports 95, Del Val VC 81:
Tristan Crawford scored 21 points and had nine rebounds to lead and Michael Yocum added 15
rebounds for Championship Sports. Theron Murray had 35 points (15-for-27 from floor) and
Kevin Payton added 18 points and 16 rebounds for Del Val.
Don-Len Trophies 104, Ivan Brown Bombers 80: Jason Greene
had 16 points and Brian Zoubec added 10 points, 11 rebounds for Don Len. Robert Latimer
had 34 points and 12 rebounds and Ricardo Lovelace added 24 points, 16 rebounds for the
Bombers.
March 31
Procura 86, Hunting Park 78: Chris Clark (six
assists) scored 16 of his 28 points in the second half and John Griffin
notched 15 of his 20 after intermission to lead Procura. Reggie Redding added 16 points
and 9 rebounds and Joe Fox chipped in with 12. Tracey Worley and Bilal Benn (8 rebounds)
each scored 18 points and Erik Adams added 16 points and 12 rebounds for Hunting Park.
Bucks County 106, Shaffer Builders 76: Travis Gale had 19
points and 9 rebounds and Jason Vegotsky added 17 points for Bucks. Matt Spadafora had 17
points and 9 rebounds and Colin Fitzgerald and Mike McCarthy each scored 11 points for
Shaffer.
April 1
Del-Val Airborne 99, Triple Crown Academy 70:
Marshall Taylor posted 17 points and 11 rebounds and Tasheed Carr added 14 points for
Del-Val. Brian Grandieri had a game-high 23 for Triple Crown Academy.
April 2
Del-Val Toros 86, Positive Image II 52: Roy
Gardner scored 17 points and Ryan Kraft added 15 points for Del-Val. Frank Stephens scored
12 points and Zahir Carrington added 10 for PI.

April 1
Championship Sports 70, Positive Image 66:
Tramayne Hawthorne scored 20 and Jamal Jackson added 15 for the winners. Brent Green had
13 points and 10 rebounds and Randy Reid collected 11 points and nine rebounds for
Positive Image.
April 2
Main Street 119, Don Len 107: Ed Millard had 25
points and 15 rebounds, Danny Miller scored 20 points and Ervin Tunnell added 18 points
for Main Street. Jason Greene scored 28 points, Courcy Magnus had 26 points and Joe Gill
added 17 points and 14 rebounds for Don Len.
April 6
Bucks County 91, N.J. Roadrunners 83: Travis
Gale had 28 points and 15 rebounds, Tyron Lewis scored 20 and Randy Arnold had 12 for
Bucks. Jon Hart had 17 for the losers.
Playaz 109, Del-Val Airborne 82: Sean Singletary (22) and
Rob Kurz (16), both from Penn Charter, combined for 38 points for Playaz, while Wayne
Ellington had 16, Ryan Ayers 15 and Antoine Brown 14. Kurz had 15 rebounds and 7 blocks.
Tywain McKee had 14 for Airborne.
April 7
Sonny Hill Seniors 93, Pizza Time Saloon 48: Mark
Tyndale had 23 points and six assists, Dionte Christmas scored 20 points, Kevin Presberry
had 11 points and Matt Walden added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the Seniors.
James Fox 99, Del-Val Toros 92: Juwuan Carter scored 26
points and Harris Mansell added 23 for the winners. Willis Gardner had 23 points and 10
assists for Del-Val.
April 8
Procura 79, Sonny Hill Juniors 75 (OT): John
Griffin (seven threes, 10-for-11 line) scored 37 points while Chris Clark added 22 points
and six assists and Reggie Redding mixed 15 points, 10 boards. Ryan Smith (21) and Scott
Rodgers (16) led the Juniors.
Waterview 98, Lebanon/Lancaster 84: Ameer Ali (19) and
Michael Ganier (16) led the way.
QUARTERFINALS
April 12
Waterview 93, James Fox 91: Anthony Haley scored 22
points, Ameer Ali had 17 points and 11 rebounds, Josh Grier had 15 points, Kevin Edwards
added 14 points and Lamar Williams had five assists for Waterview. Harris Mansell (16
points), Nick Shattuck (15) and Kevin Oleksiak (14) led James Fox.
Bucks County 93, Procura 79: Tyrone Lewis scored 20 points
and Travis Gale (19 points) and Cory Kenny (15 points) each grabbed 10 rebounds for Bucks
County. John Griffin scored 38 points (three-game tournament total of 95), Chris Clark had
15 points and six assists, Reggie Redding chipped in with 14 points and Mike Kearney added
10 points for Procura.
April 13
Sonny Hill Seniors 98, Main St. 75: Dionte
Christmas had 27 points, while Mark Tyndale had 21 and 11 rebounds, Tyrone Smith collected
15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Jason Hickenbottom scored 13 for the
winners. Ed Millard (16 points) and Dan Miller (12) led Main St.
The second game between Playaz and Championship
Sports was postponed because of a power outage. Those two teams will resume play
Wednesday night at 6. The Waterview vs. Sonny Hill Seniors semifinal game will be played
at 7, while the other semifinal between Bucks County and the winner of Playaz/Championship
Sports will be played at 8:30.
April 14
Playaz 116, Championship Sports 79: As the
suspended game was completed, Wayne Ellington (10 rebounds, five assists) and Gerald
Henderson each scored 22 points, Antoine Brown had 20 points and seven assists and Ryan
Ayers added 12 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for Playaz. Tramayne Hawthorne poured
in 34 points to lead Championship Sports.
SEMIFINALS
April 14
Sonny Hill Seniors 76, Waterview 60: Mark Tyndale
scored 22 points, Dionte Christmas had 15 and Kechan Myers added 12 for Sonny Hill. Ameer
Ali had 13 points and nine assists for Waterview.
Playaz 81, Bucks County 73: Wayne Ellington and Ryan Ayers
(12 rebounds) each scored 21 points and Shane Clark scored 15 and Playaz finished the game
on a 10-0 run after trailing, 73-71, with 2:20 remaining. Tyrone Lewis scored 22 points
and Travis Gale added 14 for Bucks County.
