  On 10/23 vs. Boys' Latin, late in what became a 62-14 win,
Jamil Morgan likely became the heaviest player to score an
offensive touchdown (maybe ANY kind of TD). Coach Erik
Zipay put the 347-pound Morgan, the center, at fullback and
guard Tamaric Richardson at tailback. Richardson ran four
yards to the 2, then Morgan rumbled in for the TD.
Richardson, a mere 230 pounds, added the conversion run.

  On 9/18 vs. Comm. Tech, Stanley Baylis broke the PL
record for receiving yards in a game with 224. Rich Drayton,
now in his first year as Central's coach, had posted 213 for
that school in 1986. Baylis caught a 95-yard scoring pass
from Khalil Brown after earlier snagging an 85-yarder from
starter Montrell Stewart (later injured) to set up a TD.
