Haverford School's First Football Championship . . .

In 1888, as a first-year member, Haverford School finished in a triple tie for first
place in the Inter-Ac League. Below are pages from the school's The Index. Thanks

pages about the season are some classic advertisements. And below that is a page
that shows a photo of the Fords' first team in 1887. (The Inter-Ac began that year,
but HS did not come aboard until '88.)
