NOV. 28
  1.
SJ Prep (10-2)- The Hawks fell to La Salle in their annual Thanksgiving day clash, 14-13. They’ll have to put this behind them quickly as they prepare for O’Hara for the CL Red title.
  2. O’Hara (9-2)- The Lions will attempt to win their second straight CL Red title this weekend. Last year, they knocked off Hawks 14-13 to capture the hardware.
  3. Malvern (10-1)- Finished a tremendous season with a methodical 21-0 pasting of Bonner on Thanksgiving eve. The Friars were one of the better stories this football season.
  4. La Salle (9-4)- The Explorers upset SJ Prep 14-13 this past Thanksgiving to end a very good season. Many believe that this bunch could be one of the favorites to capture the CL Red come next fall.
  5. Wood (9-2)- The Vikings will look to capture their third straight CL Blue crown. They’ll do so against the team they bested the last two years, West Catholic.
  6. West Catholic (10-2)-
With their minds obviously in other places the Burrs edged Penn Wood 13-6. Now they’ll turn their attention to garnering that elusive CL Blue crown. The Burrs have fallen in this game in the past three years.
  7. Roman (7-5)- The Cahillites waxed Roxborough 33-6 to close out their season. Sophomore QB Chris Johnson threw for over 200 yards in giving the Roman faithful a look at what the future holds.
  8. Penn Charter (7-3)- Season ended three weeks ago.
  9. Northeast (11-2)- Bounced back nicely with a 27-16 triumph over Thanksgiving Day rival Central. The Vikings have a lot to be proud of after a nice season.
  10. Carroll (8-5)- The Patriots were sound in their 28-3 win over Bishop Shanahan. The Pats have a host of underclassmen on their roster and should be a major factor come next fall in the CL Blue.

  Bok, (9-1), Central (7-3), Ben Franklin (10-1), Frankford (9-5), Germantown (8-4), & Episcopal (6-4).

NOV. 21
  1.
SJ Prep (10-1)- Blasted Father Judge 53-9 to reach their sixth straight CL Red final. They’ll tackle O’Hara for the fourth time in this six-year span. However, before this their attention will be set on knocking off upset-minded LaSalle in their annual Thanksgiving Day clash.
  2. O’Hara (9-2)- The Lions scored 28 unanswered points after trailing LaSalle 14-7 at half to win going away 35-14. LB Scott Taylor returned two picks for touchdowns. They’ll look to capture their second straight CL Red crown versus SJ prep on Dec. 3.
  3. Malvern (9-1)- Had a bye week to prepare for their Thanksgiving eve tussle with Bonner. Last year, Malvern thumped the "other" Friars.
  4. Wood (9-2)- The Vikings' momentum just appears to be getting stronger as the year progresses. Smashed Conwell-Egan 43-0 and reached third consecutive CL Blue championship.
  5. West Catholic (9-2)-
After regular season finale defeat to Wood, the Burrs' defense bounced back nicely with a resounding performance in their 12-0 win. RB Dennis Shaw sprinted to 215 yards and a TD in the win. The Burrs have reached the CL Blue title game four straight years. All have been losses; they’ll try to change just on Dec. 3 versus Wood.
  6. La Salle (8-4)- After a promising start the Explorers ran out of gas and fell to O’Hara 35-14 in CL Red semis. They’ll be playing for pride on Thanksgiving as they take on SJ Prep. Undoubtedly upset will be on their minds.

Finished Inter-Ac season (3-1) with 28-6 conquest of Germantown Academy. The Quakers season had ended.
  10. Carroll (7-4)- The Patriots roared past Neumann-Goretti in a wild affair this past weekend. The 41-27 victory put the Pats back in the semis where they will take on West Catholic. The Burrs have eliminated the Patriots in the semis the last two years.

   10. McDevitt (3-0)- RB Manny Harrison has just chewed up opposing defenses to the tune of 645 yards on 99 carries and 6 TDs in just three games. He’ll need to continue his amazing start against a Burr defense that has been as stingy as any in the early going.

  4. West Catholic (2-0) - While the offense rounds into shape the defense opens the season with back-to-back shutouts. They’ll need a stellar game from this unit if they have any hope in besting CL Red power O’Hara.
  5. La Salle (2-0) - Through two games the Explorer offense has been rolling behind the efforts of sophomore QB John Harrison.  Is this team once again a serious player in the CL Red?
