   In this space every Thursday, I am predicting final scores for every game involving city-leagues teams. The picks are divided into three sections -- 1.) Huck's Gems. 2.) Best of the Rest. 3.) Others.
   I am predicting a final score on every game, and giving a brief opinion on each game in Huck's Gems. I will post total and individual category records of my selections.

MISSION STATEMENT
   My primary focus here is not to just make predictions, but to have high school football fans get a look at some of the more interesting and compelling games going around on the city for that weekend. Huck's Gems won't always pit the best teams versus one another.  On many occasions, teams may not be as talented as some of the upper echelon teams, but nonetheless go out and produce some of the more enjoyable moments of the football season. For example, a Huck's Gem might include teams or team that feature a neighborhood rivalry, a dynamic offense, a bone-crunching defense, or a team who has an individual player who can create magic whenever he touches the ball. Please don't take exception if I happen to pick against your team one weekend. Remember this is all in fun. However, feedback is always welcomed.

(WEEK 15 – Week of Dec. 10th)

  Huck's response to Sir Pucklehead: Let the people know that I successfully predicted that el swine-ooo would pick North Penn and ACC. But that I mentioned to you earlier in the week that I was tossing around ACC/AW game for a long time. Unlike Sir Hammerhead, I go with what I think will happen, while he tries to play the let me read Huck's mind game. His master plan was that I would take all of our teams (And I came close to doing this), then he would take two opposites. He wasn't going to go against WC after taking it on the chin last week. So, he goes with NP and ACC, then next week he'd pick against WC if they won this week. Thus, creating a tie in the standings. He's predictable! He's a hammerhead! He is Sir Pucklehead! To the Vikes faithful, but I hope I am wrong. I'm pulling for you guys, but I can't go with my Catholic League heart on this one. Prove me wrong!  Good luck to all of our teams.  
  PS -- I suspect that Pucklehead had outside help in devising this plan. He is ineptness at its finest, therefore is not capable of such doing. Hmmm, who is the traitor????

RESPONSE TO PUCKLEHEAD/GOOFBALL/STRAPPER/PAIN-IN-BUTT
  Stop beggin! Refresh my memory, but were you offering up proposals in those years where you were ahead of me late in the season? The answer is a resounding no! Therefore, my answer to you has to be - Hit the bricks! Another desperate attempt by Sir Pucklehead. A weasel move at its finest. We pick city games and city games only for Teddy S's wonderful site. Do not tarnish it by bringing in outsider games. How dare you? Furthermore, I want everyone to watch as Pucklehead will prove his weaselness even further when he purposely picks against our teams because he thinks he knows how I'll pick those games. Brutaaalll! One other thing, but not only only do you trail me by two games, but you also lag behind considerably in the points totals, which is the tiebreaker in case you didn't know.
  In closing . . . I'd like to refer back to a line originated by Sir Pucklehead about something that's a bad idea . . . "Yo, thwow dat winduh out da winduh."
