Recognizin' Roscoe . . .

   Frank "Roscoe" Natale, baseball coach at Edward Bok Tech (and top football assistant, as well
as the school's athletic director; also former head FB coach at John Bartram), was named the 2009
Coach of the Year by the Public League Coaches Association at a late-April banquet. Here's a pic
taken by Roscoe's wife, Kathy.
   L to R -- Bok assistant Vince Trombetta (former long-time head coach at Franklin); Roscoe;
Washington assistant John McAneney (former head coach at West Catholic, Northeast and Frankford);
and Bok coach Tom DeFelice. As the head coach and assistant, respectively, John and Tom coached
Roscoe at West Catholic. Roscoe later spent time on Johnny Mac's West staff. He has known Vince
forever, in part because Vince and Tom formerly lived two doors apart in Southwest Philly.
