Services Patrick T. Boyle and sponsors such as Temple University Health
System, Under Armour, PHEAA, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and
Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Bureau of Alcohol Education, SPORTSfever
Television Network will launch a series of Philadelphia Catholic League
Football "Prime Time" regular season and playoff game telecasts beginning
this Saturday night, October 14, that will be available to all cable
subscribers, satellite subscribers and non cable-non satellite television
households throughout the Delaware Valley, South Jersey and the Lehigh
Valley.
STN's Catholic League "Prime Time" Game of the Week on Saturday
features Father Judge at St. Joseph's Prep. STN's Cingular Wireless Pregame
Show begins at 7 p.m. and kickoff is 7:30 p.m. The telecast can been seen
live on STN affiliate WTVE (Cable listings below), which is available to an
estimated 2 million cable, satellite and over-the-air households throughout
the region.
The lineup of Catholic League Prime Time telecasts includes:
Sat. Oct. 21: St. Joe's Prep at La Salle at Wissahickon HS Stadium,
Kickoff 1 p.m., "Instant Replay" telecast 6:30 p.m.
Sat. Oct. 28: Cardinal O’Hara vs Roman Catholic at Northeast HS
Stadium in Philadelphia.
The game will air (taped) on Sunday Oct.
29, beginning at 8 p.m.
Sat. Nov. 11: Playoff game (to be determined)
Sat. Nov. 18: Playoff game, Philadelphia PCL Blue Semifinal
Sat. Dec. 2: Catholic League championship doubleheader. Airtime 4
p.m.
For
the fifth straight season, SPORTSfever TV Network (based in Lancaster
County) is televising live high school football games throughout
Pennsylvania. STN has expanded its list of affiliates to include WBGN in
Pittsburgh; WTVE in Philadelphia-Reading-Lehigh Valley; WHP (CBS, CW & MY
Network), WHBG & Comcast in Harrisburg-Lancaster-Carlisle-Chambersburg; and
WHVL State College-Altoona (due on air winter 2007). These TV stations are
available on cable, over-the-air and on satellite to an estimated 4.6
million households in PA.
The SPORTSfever Television Network was founded by Gorden Blain,
Editor and Publisher of SPORTSfever Magazine and pasportsfever.com, in 2002
with its sole mission to televise high-profile Pennsylvania high school
sports events. Since September 2002, SPORTSfever Television Network has
telecast 132 football and basketball games during the regular season and
playoffs—more than 400 hours of airtime.
