Fourteen products of Public League
schools are this season playing football
for
Vermilion CC, in Ely, Minn., just 15 miles from Canada.
They are: receiver Marquis Clark (King), quarterback
Jerrick Jenkins (Gratz),
running back Anthony Bright (Washington), defensive end Courey Burrell
(Lincoln), defensive back Brian Carter (Washington), running back
Jay Sloh
(Washington), linebacker Seabrean Riser (Dobbins), linebacker Eric "Neckbone"
Williams (Germantown), linebacker Joe DiGrazio (Lincoln),
linebacker Damon
Brockington (Frankford), defensive lineman Julius Kane (Gratz),
offensive
lineman Demetrius Tillman (Southern), wide receiver Bradley Martin
(Gratz)
and defensive lineman Terrance Frazier (Gratz).
As of late August, the starters are DiGrazio, Burrell, Frazier,
Carter and Martin,
while Jenkins is involved in hot competition for the QB spot.
Quarterback Andreas Hudson (Frankford) is also attending the
school, but redshirting.
Also, DiGrazio has been named second team preseason All-American by
the NJCAA.
