    These squads represent Ted Silary's opinion of the top baseball players at Big 5 schools
from high schools in Philadelphia's three city leagues (Public, Catholic, Inter-Ac) from the
1980 through 2014 seasons.
    Honorable mentions -- two dozen for hitters, one dozen for pitchers -- are below the squads.
    College freshmen were not eligible for varsity play prior to the 1972 season.
    Statistics were primarily accessed from each school's media guide (via the Internet). Special
thanks to SIDs Mike Mahoney (Penn) and Dean Kenefick (Villanova), and to assistants Joe
Greenwich (Saint Joseph's), Michael Adleman (La Salle), Paul Seiter (Penn) and David
