Due to the overwhelming response and success of Alumni Game 1 last year, and the enthusiasm to have another game this year, I have decided to pick up the ball and coordinate Game 2 and hopefully pass the torch to someone for next year. We have decided to have 2 games this year because several of the older Alumni were intimidated to play against the younger players. We also tried to get the earliest date available so coaches and referees could be a part of the celebration. In keeping with last year's theme we are going to coordinate an effort to raise money for our wounded military. Without their dedication and commitment none of us would be able to even think about having this event.

Instead of raffles we are strictly going to ask for donations this year. We would love to see all the players and non-playing alumni bring as many people to the game as possible and we will be taking donations at the door. We would also like to ask the players to try and get sponsors for the game letting them know the money will go to our military. You can all put together some kind of form that works for you. I have included the address and web site of the foundation and Leslie Purcell’s e-mail. She can answer any questions you have and help you with donation forms.

Once again we will have a reception between and after the games. We are looking for drink donations. I am in the food business so I will get burgers and dogs. We could use buns and condiments. Any other suggestions would be welcome. I am going to ask Coach Dempsey to be the go-to person for the reception.

Once again the Sullivan family has been kind enough to take care of the jerseys for the game. We are going to try and get names and numbers on the jerseys so when you fill out the player form please provide all the information.
