Derrick "D.J." Rivera Commits to Hawks

  On 6/8/05, Ss. Neumann-Goretti junior Derrick "D.J." Rivera made an oral commitment
to attend Saint Joseph's in Sept. 2006. Here are some photos . . .

Time out for a family photo. Derrick was a starter for Dobbins' 1985 Pub champs and his brother, Eric "Hank" Gathers, was
a star on that team with Greg "Bo" Kimble. Hank and Bo became an incredible show at Loyola Marymount University. Hank
died of heart problems while playing for LMU in 1990. Lucille Gathers, mom of Derrick and Hank, is in the back row, center,
