  In 1968-69, La Salle University had a wonderful basketball team under coach Tom Gola. However, due to violations that occurred under a previous coach, the Explorers were ineligible for postseason competition. Mr. Grady wrote this column after the team's final game, at West Chester. Powerful stuff. The very definition of a sights-and-sounds journalistic presentation. I've read it often through the years . . .
