  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Harrison "Buddy" Gardler. Buddy, who coached basketball for 39 seasons at Bishop Kenrick (1969-75) and Cardinal O'Hara (1977-2008), winning 560 games, passed away tonight due to injuries suffered in a recent fall. RIP, Buddy.
  Sports Fan Base Network (SFBN) will broadcast all football games involving Malvern Prep this fall. Along with other games involving Inter-Ac/Catholic schools. Announcements will be made each week on the Weekly Schedule page.
  2018 Wood grad Seth Pickney will do a basketball prep school year at Montverde Academy, in Florida.

Eastern Regional  has two graduates, Jack Herman and Davis Schneider,  playing pro baseball.  As of this morning, RF Jack Herman ('18) has played in 7 games, batting .458 with one homer, five RBI, and one stolen base for the Gulf Coast League Pirates. Davis Schneider ('17), playing third base for the Bluefield (WV) Blue Jays of the Rookie Appalachian League has played in 16 games, batting .308 with two homers, four doubles, and nine RBI.
  Best wishes to Mike Lake, who again is the baseball coach at Ryan. He previously coached from 1990 through 2001.
